During a game round, both you and your opponent will take turns activating a unit, deciding between moving, launching an attack, scoring, or employing a special ability. Once all units have been set into motion, the battle advances to the next round. A full game takes eight such rounds, offering an immersive experience that typically spans around 15 minutes.
The objective of the game is to score victory points by claiming building points and by destroying enemy units. At the end of the game, the player with the most points wins. However, if you manage to destroy all the opposing units you will instantly win the game.
HeXenagos affords players a crucial choice: to field a default army or to craft their own assembly, forging specific synergies tailored to their strategic vision.
Every unit in HeXenagos possesses distinct strengths and weaknesses. Each unit belongs to specific types such as Cavalry, Ranged, Melee, Spear, and Legend. Additionally, each unit boasts a unique special ability known as Mythos. However, it's imperative to exercise strategic discretion when employing these Mythos abilities, as their activation carries an associated cost that is deducted from your army's Mythos power reserves. Balancing these resource allocations is key to success on the battlefield.
