The Story

In the realm of HeXenagos, a solemn pact among the gods has been forged, a pact born of the understanding that open warfare between deities would rend the very fabric of the world asunder. To circumvent this cataclysmic outcome, the Gods have resorted to clandestine measures, seeking out foreign commanders to do battle in their name. These chosen commanders, known as Xenagos, now engage in fierce conflict, vying for dominion over ancient, forgotten temples and strategic locales strewn across the realms. Their objective is clear: to amplify the influence of their patron deities.

To mitigate the catastrophic toll of this celestial warfare, the Gods have bestowed upon their Xenagos enchanted medallions. Prior to each battle, these medallions pulsate with divine energy, serving as conduits to transport the commanders' troops to a celestial battlefield suspended high above the mortal lands. Here, amidst the clouds and celestial vistas, the clash of armies can unfold without the specter of mass destruction looming over the surrounding realms.
